OUR CHIHUAHUAS
There are currently 4 Chihuahuas residing at the Pug Chateau. All came from different backgrounds, and they are all much loved and cared for. We cannot think of any other breed that is as loyal as a tiny yappy Chihuahua.
Little Lexy baby came to us at 6 months of age. She was determined by the breeder to be unsellable due to her shyness around people. Her only future prospect in that place was to become breeding stock. And so we brought her home with us. To this day, she is still shy and weary of people, but she adores her Mom and Dad.
Tin-Tin came from a military family that received orders to Germany and did not want to take him along. The family's children were used to feeding him cookies and potato chips, so Tin-Tin came to us a bit overweight. Eventually he developed diabetes. He receives two daily shots of insulin a day. And he is still as happy and full of life as the day he came to us.
